The ARGUS is a 3rd generation electronic and pyrotechnic safety device for parachutists.

Multi-Mode Design

For your convenience, the Argus offers four modes: STANDARD, NOVICE, TANDEM and SWOOP. Extreme canopy pilots have developed the skills to exceed a vertical speed of 78 mph (35 meters per second) under open canopy. Therefore, the Argus can also be programmed in Swoop mode and the Gore-Tex filter allows for safe pond swooping without the need to worry about getting the unit wet!!

Perhaps the most attractive feature of the Argus is the low total cost of ownership driven by the utilization of low cost standard lithium batteries, field-replaceable and interchangeable parts, upgradeable software, and a free replacement cutter should you have an Argus save.

Testing Results

No less than 3 independent laboratories have been freezing, frying, shaking and drowning the Argus. Top-notch skydivers have been helping with the field testing. The Argus is the choice of US videographer Mike McGowan and world-renowned organizer Tony Domenico. The British all-round skydiver Alastair McCartney and the Dutch hot-shot swooper Henny Wiggers are real Argus believers. Henny logged over 700 jumps in Swoop mode in less than one year. In Empuriabrava, you'll find Alain Donny and Vincent Van Laethem using it. The Dutch parachute center of Teuge and the French parachute center of Maubeuge are official partners.
