Crew Ueli Kestenholz, thun. ueli has been playing with gravity for decades. as a snowboarder, he’s achieved practically everything possible to achieve. he’s an olympic medal winner, a two times world champion and winner of the x-games.As well as practicing a variety of boardsports on land and on water, ueli is now playing with the next element and attacks the air with his parachute. mathias roten, thun. he was just sixteen when he became hooked on flying. as well as competitive successes (he won the synchronised acrobatic paragliding world cup) mathias has pushed the boundaries of paragliding. he was heavily involved in the development of new gliders and manoeuvres. he’s renowned for being a swiss pioneer in speedriding.
Samuel Gyger, thun. he comes from a family of photographers and has always been fascinated by film. “endless riding” is his philosophy of life. he’s worked as a cameraman for several years. he studied and did assistant work in vancouver. projects such as the critically acclaimed documentary “natural high” paved the way for him to become a film-maker.
Yves Gruendler, interlaken. also on the “natural high” team, yves has achieved international recognition as a cutter. he’s part of the generation that breaks all the rules when it comes to editing. as creative director of “playgravity” he’s responsible for putting the finishing touches to the film. martin & walter bäbler, mollis. the bäblers must be switzerland’s most innovative film brothers. they are master craftsmen. whether using camera cranes, cable cars or paragliders, they are always on the lookout for the craziest angles. as well as being known for his excellent camera work, martin is a skilled cutter. his brother walter composes suitable music. Guests seth wescott. usa snowboard the olympic boardercross champion is ueli’s partner in crime. together they have ridden enormous slopes in alaska. although seth still competes in the most important contests, his real passion are the big mountains of alaska. raul rodriguez. spain paraglide raul has invented some of the most difficult flying manoeuvres in paragliding. he’s world champion in solo and synchronised flying. the spaniard met playgravity team member mathias on the acro tour and has competed in many aesthetic flight contests in the past few years. together they show spectacular synchronised acrobatic flying.
Stephan Siegrist. interlaken. mountaineer the guy from interlaken has been one of the world’s top mountaineers for years. stephan became a public figure after his appearancein the tv show eiger live on swiss tv. as well as many climbs of the eiger’s north face, he opened the route “young spider” with ueli steck in 2001. ueli gegenschatz. appenzell basejump he was first to jump from the “mushroom” on the eiger. the basejumping legend co-founded the redbull acro team in 1995. as well as a great many basejumps around the world, ueli has now become one of the best wingsuit pilots. stefan klaus. interlaken skydive he is a winner of the x-games in skysurfing. his impressive appearances as a skysurfer are covered in many team-babylon videos. he also features in other parachute sport disciplines such as freefly or mountain swooping.
